Pushing more to BlackBerry users

Today we’re launching the most requested feature for BlackBerry: native push notifications. Now, after you download the new version of foursquare (v 1.9.5), you will know instantly when your friends check in. With BlackBerry native push notifications, no more getting an update 20 minutes late, or having to leave foursquare running in the background.

In addition, you’ll see a whole host of other improvements, including:
- everything loads faster – instead of waiting for a whole page to load, we’re showing you activity as it comes in.
- saves you battery – with push notifications and other tweaks we’ve made, your battery will last longer.
- touching is improved – BlackBerry touch users now can fly through the application.
